The Differences between Newspaper and Magazine

       Newspapers and magazines have much in common, but they have are also quite different. Newspapers and magazines are different in many ways. They were different in size, appearance, style, and content. The main role of both is advertising. Besides, both provide money to people who are involved in developing them, for example, writers or editors. When writers write an article for a magazine or newspaper they also use a different kinds of tricks to attract the readers. They use language tricks such as metaphors, lexis, and interesting collocations. All these things subconsciously affect a reader. 

       The first is the similarities between newspaper and magazine are giving information and news. Both of them made by paper. Information is very important for people because everyone wants to know what is happening in the world. Information like this which is quite reliable is offered by a newspaper. You can get it almost everywhere unlike a magazine and that’s also one reason why a lot of people buy a newspaper instead of a magazine. So some people prefer magazines while others prefer newspapers. The choice depends on the individual's demands.

       The second is the difference between newspapers and magazines are discussing the topic. A newspaper is formal news and has universal news. On the other hand, the newspaper gives important information, like politic news, economic, health news, and culture news. While, the magazine is moreover entertaining news, like a love story, zodiac, about celebrity and actually magazine just for a refresh. The common thing to a newspaper and a magazine is the front cover. The magazine is a Colorful front cover made of glossy paper can reader convince to buy it. Although the newspaper doesn’t have such front cover as a magazine, the reader is attracted to big titles about interesting things on the front page.

       The last, newspaper cheaper than the magazine, because the paper of the newspaper is made of low quality, but the magazine more expensive than the newspaper. It caused by the paper of magazine is made of high quality. Different from newspapers, magazines more colorful and more interesting than newspapers. on the contrary, the magazine has more pictures than newspapers. So there compare and contrast between newspaper and magazine.

       In conclusion, Newspapers never fall short of content as there is always something happening in different parts of the world, whereas magazine content is always based upon the liking of the readers.  people are so used to newspapers and magazines that they hardly pay any attention to differences between them.
